Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 5 years of experience and strong expertise in API testing to ensure our applications meet high standards of reliability scalability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing tools (Load Runner) scripting and in-depth knowledge of API testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Testing:
- Design develop and execute performance testing strategies for web and backend systems.
- Create performance test scripts using tools like JMeter LoadRunner
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in application performance.
- API Testing:
- Validate API functionality performance scalability and security.
- Develop and execute API Test Cases.
- Conduct load and stress testing for APIs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers POs and DevOps teams to optimize system performance.
- Participate in requirement gathering to understand performance criteria and benchmarks.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor system performance during tests and identify deviations.
- Generate comprehensive performance test reports documenting results and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
