Job Description:
Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in utilizing data to drive instruction and is eager to contribute to a challenging Honors Math curriculum
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Offer academic advising to students helping them set educational goals and develop study strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
Skills
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts including differential equations and discrete math.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and requirements.
- Proficient in creating lesson plans that match the needs of the students
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage students effectively.
