Job Description
The SLP will evaluate and provide therapy services to clients with speech and/or language disorders formulate individualized treatment programs keep appropriate records and inform relevant parties about the clients progress.
Responsibilities:
- Provide SLP services to clients aged 2-8 years old
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients goals and needs
- Help clients improve speech language communication and swallowing disorders
- Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports to ensure client progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care
- Educate families on strategies for managing conditions and maximizing independence
Skills:
- Enthusiastic personality that will engage children
- Strong client service skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with BCBAs BTs parents and clients in a positive and constructive way.
- Experience working with pediatric clients is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children
- Ability to plan manage and evaluate curriculum
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required for recordkeeping and documentation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting throughout the home and/or classroom
- Must be able to lift to 45 pounds at a time
- Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day and bend kneel or squat to be at eye level with clients

Salary: $85000.00 - $95000.00 per year

- speech language pathology: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- New York State Speech and Language Pathologist license
- ConnecticutSpeech and Language Pathologist license
- TSSLD (Preferred)
