Were Hiring: Professional Pet Sitters (Amherst/Buffalo Area) (Orchard Park Area)
Do you love animals and want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their people Sit n Stay Dog Training is looking for dependable compassionate and detail-oriented Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers to join our amazing team!
Were a well-established and highly respected company serving Western NY and we pride ourselves on offering top-notch care and positive experiences for both pets and their humans. If youre an animal lover whos reliable flexible and looking for meaningful part-time work wed love to hear from you!
What Youll Be Doing:
As a Sit n Stay Pet Sitter youll be the friendly face our clients trust to care for their pets when they cant be home. Responsibilities include:
- Visiting client homes for 30-minute pet care visits
- Walking dogs and providing enrichment during visits
- Feeding and refreshing water bowls
- Cleaning up any pet messes or accidents
- Scooping litter boxes or performing other light pet clean-up
- Checking the home for any pet-related issues or concerns
- Communicating updates with both clients and our management team
- Providing lots of love and comfort to our furry clients!
Youll be working mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays based on client needs so flexibility is key.
What Were Looking For:
Were seeking the best pet sitterspeople who are dependable caring and take this role seriously. Heres what youll need:
- A reliable insured vehicle and a valid drivers license
- The ability to drive to multiple clients homes per day
- Great time management skillsyoure always on time and organized
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal
- Confidence and comfort working with all types of dogs and cats (big and small!)
- A true love for animals and commitment to their well-being
- Availability for visits on weekdays weekends and holidays
- A clean background check
- A positive can-do attitude!
Important Details:
- This is a part-time position
- You must live in or near the Amherst/Buffalo or Orchard Park areas
- Flexibility is essentialpet care doesnt stop on weekends or holidays!
