Job Description
- Implementing and maintaining an Engineering Change Notice System including product improvements repairs and new product development
- Coordinate the interaction between engineering manufacturing and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documented and controlled.
- Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
- Work across organizations with Engineering Quality Support and Manufacturing to coordinate processes and design control.
- Experience in executing a Configuration Management/change control process in both a development and manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of industry and DOD standards Hardware and Software Configuration Management practices.
- Experience in change control boards approval processes and comment adjudication.
- Experience facilitating and conducting Configuration Management audits.
- Experience in the assessment of Configuration Management services concepts policies and procedures.
- Ability to develop control and manage multiple product & allocated baselines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications Jira and Product Data Management (PDM) applications.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
