Job Description

We believe that every student has the potential to succeed and we strive to unlock that potential through innovative teaching and high a Speech Therapist at Pioneer Charter School of Science you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language challenges. This position is essential in helping our students achieve their academic goals and ensuring they are prepared for the rigors of college assessments develop treatment plans and deliver speech therapy interventions to studentsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PT OT and ST) to support comprehensive care with focus on community re-entryDocument progress and maintain accurate student recordsEducate students and families on strategies to maximize communicationConsulting with classroom teachers and support staff to coordinate classroom lessons and target specific social language development in cooperative group skills self-concept and daily living in IEP meetings to discuss student goals and therapy plans with parents teachers and other reports for IEPs and other necessary documentation as required by the school districtQualificationsMasters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication state licensure or certification as a Speech working with children particularly in a school setting is knowledge of early intervention strategies and pediatric speech therapy to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment communication skills for collaboration with staff students and with medical terminology related to speech therapy is beneficial but not you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students through effective speech therapy we invite you to apply today and join our dedicated team at Pioneer Charter School of Type: Full-timePay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Masters (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Everett MA 02149 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Everett MA 02149: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
