Your mission
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic ESS Regional Project Manager - Italy (Milan) to lead ourEnergy Storage Systems (ESS) business in Sungrow Europe. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring ESS projects are delivered successfully and high-level customer engagement with team leadership and is central to our expansion in a high-priority growth market. They combine organizational skills leadership and strategic thinking to drive results.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1.Project Planning
Define BESS project scope (SAB level) goals and deliverables different stages:
Develop detailed project plans timelines (Gantt charts schedules) and budgets.
Identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
2. Team Coordination & Leadership
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams (commercial service product solution contract &l egal finance etc.).
Motivate and guide the team to meet deadlines.
3. Stakeholder Communication
Act as the main point of contact for clients executives and team members.
Provide regular progress updates (status reports meetings).
Organize regular meeting withkey stakeholders and report to internal and external parties.
Manage expectations and negotiate changes when necessary.
4. Project payment & Resource Management
Track project payment milestone and ensure adherence to the program & deadline.
Allocate resources efficiently (manpower tools materials).
5. Risk & Issue Management
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that hinder progress.
6. Quality Assurance & Delivery
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Conduct post-project reviews (lessons learned performance analysis).

Your profile
2-3 years in project management leadership withinenergy storage renewables or technical infrastructure sectors
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
Proven experience managing teams and developing customers relationship.
Skilled insolution-based project management with strong contract negotiation ability
Fluency inEnglish and Italian (minimum B2 level)
Willingness totravel 40-50% of the time
Project Manager Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) PMI
PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments)
CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) Entry-level
