Prep Cook Extraordinaire Wanted!
Youll be the behind-the-scenes hero of the kitchensetting up workstations chopping slicing and getting all the ingredients ready for the magic to happen. Youll also jump in on some basic cooking keep an eye on stock levels and tackle whatever tasty tasks come your way. If you love food and dont mind getting your hands a little messy this gigs for you!
What Youll Be Doing:
- Label and stock ingredients like a pro so everythings easy to find and ready to roll
- Make sure all the kitchen gear is good to go
- Chop dice and prep all the ingredients and meal components ahead of time
- Measure weigh and pre-package recipes so were always one step ahead
- Get a head start on menu items when possiblefuture you will thank you
- Jump in to help with cooking and whatever culinary curveballs come your way
- Keep the kitchen sparklingsanitize surfaces sweep floors take out the trash restock ingredients and more
- Make sure all food is stored properly when its not being used
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven cooking experience including experiences as a Line or Prep Cook.
- Have a love and passion for great food and outstanding craft beer along with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Valid Food Safety Certification is an asset.
- Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods ingredients procedures and equipment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and accurately execute assigned tasks.
- Ability to read and follow recipes.
- Ability to lift 60lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Flexible dependable and dedicated.
