Information Technology Specialist I Technology - Full-Time - Papillion La Vista Community Schools
JOB SUMMARY: Provides day to day support for operation and maintenance of computer and data systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Communicates effectively with students parents educators and other technical users from local districts. Ability to work in a team environment while being student and team oriented. Assign route and monitor open tickets via helpdesk software and phone calls. Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for all Macintosh and Windows computers/peripherals and all audiovisual equipment. Facilitate repair of district hardware including student and staff devices.-Inventory track and update computers and tech assets in the district. Develop/provide training and support for end-users as needed. Support troubleshoot and install network hardware and wiring.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of desktop systems databases PC software and networking. Obtain the necessary district-provided certifications for vendor/manufacturer specific hardware repairs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Good typing skills. Good written and oral communications skills. Must have access to a car and the ability to drive to different buildings.
Range of pay: depending on qualifications past experiences etc.
