Job Purpose
The Rehabilitation Technician works under the direct supervision of the Director of Outpatient Therapy and works cooperatively with outpatient Rehabilitation Staff to support routine operations of rehabilitation. This position performs tasks to support the cleanliness and orderliness of the patient therapy space completes special projects to support the therapists and assists with individualized patient care during rehabilitative therapies.
Work Schedule
In an effort to provide appropriate therapy coverage this position is full-time Monday - Friday 8:00a - 4:30p or 8:30a - 5:00p.

Assures work area and supplies are clean orderly and fully stocked each day including putting away materials disinfecting toys/equipment/all surfaces sanitizing necessary items disposing of trash and soiled linens according to procedure restocking laundry cleaning supplies and other necessary materials and organizing supplies.

Assists outpatient therapists with miscellaneous projects and/or patient needs.

Completes a variety of computer tasks regarding filing patient information.

Remains up to date on competency training project participation and contributes to learning opportunities for new and prospective Outpatient Rehab Technicians.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Actively pursuing a degree inSpecial Education or rehabilitative therapy (PT OT Speech) ispreferred.
Experience:
1 years in childcare or healthcare preferred.
