Description
Spectrum for Living a New Jersey not-for-profit organization helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for disabled loved one.
We are currently looking for a Full-Time cook at our Closter Intermediate Care Facility. The shift is from 5 AM-1 PM with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing menu requirements developed by the dietitian and following production sheets to prepare meals including lunches snacks and supplements. This role also involves ordering and purchasing food and supplies as needed. Candidates must be able to lift 20 pounds or more and possess a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of experience working in the food service sector is required along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
