Job Description

A Livingskin Painting Technician completes custom painted prostheses designed to replace and restore upper and lower extremities. Strong technical and artistic competency is required to accurately custom color match a prosthesis in accordance to Livingskin quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong artistic inclination

  • Strong competency of color theory / color wheel to accurately color match skin tones

  • Achieve high standard of craftsmanship

  • Ability to time manage production schedule effectively to meet concrete deadlines

  • Ability to work well in team

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to practice patience for required results

  • Able to take directions and constructive feedback

  • Ability to adapt techniques to meet customer satisfaction

  • Able to effectively execute techniques learned

  • Able to work self sufficiently

  • Exercise good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Maintains an honest and professional attitude as the companys representative at all times.

  • All employees must be aware have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of ssur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.

  • All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance to the Training Management Process (QM1681).

  • Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in an artistic capacity demonstrating color matching skill

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Medical device experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Ability to work hands on to find solutions to routine problems

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $20.00 - $21.00 benefits. Our ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
