We Are Looking For

The Systems Engineer design implement and maintain infrastructure solutions that support our organizations critical systems and operations. The System Engineer will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing user requirements and translate them into technical system requirements and functional specifications. They will also evaluate solutions that will serve to automate improve and enhance user experiences as well as train and implement solutions to end users. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills and will support system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as business strategies and goals.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities)

• Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions including Azure AD virtual networks virtual machines storage accounts firewalls and VPN gateways
• Manage hybrid identity using Azure AD Connect and Entra ID
• Implement Azure IaaS/PaaS resources with a focus on scalability high availability and cost optimization
• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize cloud resources using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and other native tools
• Deploy configure and support network devices across multiple sites
• Design secure and resilient LAN/WAN topologies using SD-WAN firewalls and VPN configurations
• Implement network monitoring alerting and performance tuning
• Administer Windows Server environments (AD DNS DHCP GPO)
• Implement and support backup disaster recovery and high availability solutions
• Perform root cause analysis and implement proactive monitoring for system issues
• Collaborate with application security and ops teams on cross-functional projects
• Enforce security baselines and conduct regular system hardening and patching
• Participate in audits and maintain compliance with frameworks such as CIS NIST and ISO 27001
• Implement and maintain endpoint and network security tools

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 5 years
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Azure (IaaS networking identity storage security)
  • Cisco Meraki (MX MR MS Dashboard administration)
  • Windows Server administration (2019/2022)
  • PowerShell or scripting for automation
• Experience with:
  • M365 ecosystem (Exchange Online SharePoint Intune)
  • DNS DHCP and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with tools such as PRTG CrowdStrike is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
• Must have a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work with individuals in various organizational relationships

Special Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
