Job Description
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a Multi-Tiered System of Support Teacher. Thisspecific anticipated Predictable Term Substitute position will be for the 2025-2026 School Year at Radio Park Elementary School and will work with and support the students in Grades K-5.
This MTSS Teachers specific role will depend on the needs of students in the building but could entail small group math and/or reading instruction individual math and/or reading interventions data collection and dissemination and teacher consultation. The MTSS Teacher will also support MTSS Team and Data Team Meetings. Additionally the MTSS teacher may support student behavior management working closely with the principal and Dean of Students.
This interventionist is a highly qualified teacher responsible for supporting student achievement academically and behaviorally and pays special attention to Tier II and III MTSS instruction. Establishing relationships with students and collaborating with colleagues is critical to success in this position.
The District seeks student-focused educators with knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of elementary learners and MTSS systems. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The district is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.
