Dialysis Technician
Schedule/Shift: 5:30 AM 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM 12:30 AM Approximately 30 hours per week
Cedar Park Med is hiring a Dialysis Technician!
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dialysis Technician to support patients receiving life-sustaining dialysis treatment. This is a per diem role with flexible scheduling. You will play a key role in patient care and treatment monitoring working under the direction of nursing staff and nephrologists.
Position Overview:
As a Dialysis Technician you will operate dialysis machines monitor patient treatment plans and provide support to ensure safe high-quality care. Youll assist with setup maintenance and disinfection of dialysis equipment and provide direct care to patients throughout their sessions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare dialysis equipment and monitor treatment processes
Assess patients vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Ensure proper sterilization and functioning of dialysis machines
Document treatment information in patient records
Maintain a clean safe and comfortable treatment environment
Respond promptly to machine alarms and patient concerns
Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure patient needs are met
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent certification required
Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience preferred
Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
CPR certification preferred
Detail-oriented and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
