JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and economical fleet to include gasoline and diesel-driven vehicles in order to provide efficient transportation services for the District.
EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited institution
- One year experience in automotive setting
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. .
CERTIFICATES LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Possess and maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B with a Passenger Endorsement P or able to attain within 6 months of employment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- All hires must pass the pre-employment drug screening according to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employees Testing Act (OTETA).
- All hires must meet the physical requirements of the Post Offer Employment Testing (POET).
- All hires mustsubmitto and passan initialdrug test andsubsequentrandom drug testsin accordance withthe requirements of Florida Statute 112.0455 and the Pasco County Sheriffs Office.
