Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse provides patient care to dermatology patients.

What you may be doing:
- Provides support to the patient care team under appropriate supervision as outlined by applicable rules and regulations
- Performs routine dermatology procedures medical assistant support including assisting providers in dermatological surgical procedures medical documentation (scribing) and providing education to patients and families
- Maintains stock of dermatology equipment and supplies
- Participates in departmental quality assurance/quality improvement initiatives
- Maintains stock of dermatology equipment and supplies
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Certification: Certified by an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Education: Possession of an associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school
