You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Lead Reporting Manager is primarily responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of the reporting landscape across multiple HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level.
This role serves as a key interface between technical teams project and program leadership and external stakeholders.
The focus is on proactive analysis maintaining transparency on project performance and ensuring a high-quality standard in reporting across the entire portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and continuously improve the reporting framework across several HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level
Ensure the preparation consistency and quality of reports dashboards and presentations for senior management program leadership and steering committees
Analyze complex project data to identify key trends deviations and develop data-driven recommendations
Coordinate cross-project data inputs to deliver accurate comparable and timely reporting across all megaprojects
Work closely with project and program managers to monitor progress support strategic decisions and communicate key insights
Facilitate management and stakeholder meetings with well-structured reporting presentations
Support risk identification and mitigation efforts through KPI and variance analysis
Provide guidance and onboarding support to other reporting managers and new team members
Promote a high-performance ownership-driven culture in line with the principle: Run it like you own it
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Project Management Engineering Data Analytics or a related field
Several years of experience in reporting data analysis or controlling for complex infrastructure programs or multiple major projects
Proficient in reporting tools such as Excel and Smartsheet
Strong initiative responsibility and strategic thinking mindset
Proven experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels
Excellent communication skills in both English and German
Experience working in interdisciplinary and international project environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Project Management Engineering or Data Science)
Project management certification (e.g. PMP IPMA PRINCE2)
Familiarity with HVDC systems offshore infrastructure and relevant regulatory frameworks
Work Environment:
This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel to offshore or onshore project sites.
Flexible work models including remote work options are available by arrangement.
