What will you be doing

Desktop Supports main objective is to provide end user support with laptops and other Circana-provided colleague technology. The role includes helping colleagues troubleshoot and resolve technology challenges in person by telephone or via remote access in a timely and accurate fashion. When on-site in the Chicago office the role will require preparation of equipment for shipment gathering inventory and organization of equipment and on-site support helping colleagues with laptops conference rooms printers or other needs based on the technology challenges and requirements in the office on a given day. The person in this role will also partner with our VIP support team to provide VIP support to our executive and global leadership team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technology support to colleagues
  • Assist our VIP support team with VIP support for our executive and global leadership team
  • Support Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work collaboratively with the other end-user support team members to identify root cause analysis to help resolve colleague technology issues

  • Register and update properly all incidents/requests using the ticketing tool making sure that all the information required is correctly recorded
  • Fully respect standards installation guidelines and policies
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Apple product suite including but not limited to identifying areas of improvement creating specs for new MacBook computers staying up to date on industry trends related to Apple products and aligning Circanas Apple colleague offerings to industry recommendations and best practices.

  • Partner with the end-user computing engineering team to provide recommendations on how to improve our Apple product offerings
  • Help maintain the Chicago equipment inventory
  • Prepare hardware shipments from the Chicago office

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in end-user support
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional colleague facing skills and confidence in working with executive level colleagues
  • Windows (Dell) laptop expertise
  • Mac OS and iOS expertise
  • JAMF expertise
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Apple Certified Support Specialist
  • Comfortable communicating with and supporting senior leaders
  • Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Location

This position can be located in the following area(s): Chicago IL hybrid role with 2 to 3 days required on site per week

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. The position pay is $115000 to $120000
