Job Title: PGT Commerce Teacher
Location: India
Work Mode: On-Site
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans for commerce curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Accounting Business Studies and Economics.
- Assess student performance through regular tests and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance course offerings.
- Create a positive learning environment to promote student engagement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage diverse learning needs.
- Organize and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and educational best practices.
- Communicate effectively with students parents and staff.
- Utilize technology to support teaching methodologies.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving among students.
- Implement innovative teaching techniques to cater to various learning styles.
- Participate in professional development opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Prepare students for examinations and skill assessments.
- Support the overall development of students beyond academics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Commerce or related field.
- Master s degree in Commerce or Education preferred.
- Teaching qualification ( or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a formal school environment.
- Strong understanding of commerce subject matter.
- Proficient in educational technology tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster a supportive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adaptability to different learning styles and student needs.
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students.
