Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional company in the Rocky Mountain West with six store locations over five states. We strive to identify and satisfy our customers needs with our extensive hose and fitting knowledge large hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings inventory and hydraulic CNC tube bender. We pride ourselves on problem solving for our wide variety of customers whether in the oilfield construction medical manufacturing military or government. You would be responsible for working with vendors and our branches to meet inventory needs. You would work out of our Salt Lake City UT corporate location. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Purchasing Clerk duties include but are not limited to:
- Evaluating current stock levels
- Placing orders with vendors
- Expediting to ensure order reach the company in a timely manner
- Excel based data analysis
- May work through projects that come into the Purchasing Department
The job requires: - Written and verbal communication skills
- Computer and data entry skills
- Knowledge of and basic skill in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Prior purchasing experience hose industry experience or computer/database experience is strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour (base pay of $21.00/hour to $26.40/hour plus quarterly profit sharing)
- Schedule: 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
