Multnomah County Community Health Center is seeking a visionary and strategic Health Center Information Officer (HCIO) WOC to lead information systems for Oregons largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare technology and data in a community-focused environment.
As WOC HCIO youll report directly to the ICS Executive Director and serve on both the ICS Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams. Youll be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive information systems strategies for the ICS Division working closely with County Information Technology leadership.
What Youll Do:
Drive Vision & Strategy: Lead the vision strategy and adoption of technology data governance and Epic EHR across the Health Center.
Forge Partnerships: Manage key relationships with Multnomah County Central IT and OCHIN ensuring seamless collaboration and effective resource utilization.
Champion Data Literacy: Foster a culture of data literacy throughout the organization empowering staff to leverage data for informed decision-making.
Strategic Planning: Actively participate in Health Center strategy development taking ownership of the Health Center Technology Plan and leading its execution across all initiatives.
Lead Data Analytics: Direct the organizations data analytics function to identify market trends pinpoint growth opportunities and provide crucial insights to stakeholders driving the successful development and execution of strategic plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support Information Systems and Technology across all Health Center programs collaborating with senior leadership in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
Foster Culture: Champion a culture of safety and equity for both staff and the communities served by the Health Center.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain accountability to both the ICS Executive Director and the Health Centers Community Health Center Board for required compliance oversight.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology business management or related field. (In lieu of a degree we will consider relevant education and experience)
3 years of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Experience in an FQHC Environment
Experience with Epic electronic health records processes
