Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Location: 2674 E Fowler Ave Tampa Fl 33612
Schedule: Mon - Fri
Compensation: Starting at $75000/yr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
Incentives: Indefinite student debt repayment assistance of $350/month
Select Physical Therapy is now hiring a talented Full Time Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist in Tampa FL! Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years experience working in hand therapy APPLY! CHT preferred. Join our clinical team of 2 PTs 2 PTAs and 1 T treating various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries sprain strains post-operative fractures etc. Splinting experience preferred. Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care.
Our locations are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post surgical non-operative to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with excellent hand surgeons. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation plan of care treatment re-evaluation discharge and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
- Develop treatment plans supervise assistants and aides contribute to case management and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
- Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum two (2) years current hand therapy experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic required.
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience required.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Valid state drivers license
