We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivables & Collections Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team. In this role you will manage the accounts receivable and collection processes ensuring accurate payment processing handling adjustments and deductions and supporting overall financial performance.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca Romania.

We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accurately receive and deposit customer payments ensuring timely application to customer accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain AR reports providing insights into outstanding balances cash flow and collections.
  • Post AR activities to the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers regarding deductions adjustments and overdue accounts
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align collection strategies and accounting practices.
  • Manage default accounts perform recovery efforts and implement strategies to minimize losses.
  • Support policy development for delinquent account management to reduce financial risks.
  • Process write-offs and adjustments according to company policies.
  • Provide support to AP and Procurement functions as needed.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial data interpretation ability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with financial software.
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in at least one additional language (French Italian Spanish or Czech) both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Masters degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or SAP.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working with cross-functional international teams.
