Job Description

Are you excited to shape the future of Quick Commerce in MENA The Amazon Now team in Egypt is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead critical execution programs and dark store launches for a fast-scaling high-visibility business. This is a unique opportunity to own high-impact initiatives from the ground up in a rapidly evolving space.

In this role you will be the engine driving execution across multiple workstreamscoordinating with Operations Real Estate Tech and Instock to launch and scale our network of dark stores. You will build and manage centralized governance mechanisms track performance metrics (Speed Availability Cost to Serve) and ensure all teams are aligned and accountable to delivery milestones.

Success in this role requires a high level of ownership strong program management capability and the ability to operate across business and operational domains. You must be comfortable managing ambiguity prioritizing effectively and diving deep to solve problems. Strong judgment analytical skills and crisp written and verbal communication are essential.

This role will involve frequent communication with senior stakeholders to report progress highlight risks and recommend corrective actions. You will also support the Country Manager on strategic initiatives and act as a key partner in shaping the execution roadmap of Amazon Now Egypt.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and program-manage the launch of dark stores across Egypt ensuring cross-functional coordination with Operations Real Estate IT and Instock for timely and effective go-lives.

- Own the centralized launch roadmap and tracking mechanisms maintaining visibility on all critical workstreams and ensuring key milestones are met across planning readiness and execution.

- Act as the single-threaded owner for post-launch performance tracking speed availability and cost-to-serve and partnering with stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks and improve KPIs.

- Drive operational readiness across functions ensuring hiring plans inventory flows tech enablement and SOPs are in place for every dark store before and after launch.

- Partner with Ops and Program teams to identify opportunities to reduce cost-per-order improve batching and enhance throughput across the Amazon Now network.

- Support the Country Manager on strategic initiatives including new city expansion operational model changes and speed improvement programs owning timelines and coordination.

- Build and maintain governance mechanisms (dashboards scorecards weekly reviews) to ensure all stakeholders have real-time visibility and accountability across active and upcoming sites.

- Lead cross-functional rhythm of the business ensuring consistent engagement with local and regional teams preparing WBR/MBR inputs and driving follow-through on action items

- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Operations Engineering or a related field
- 7 years of experience in program management operations supply chain or retail/logistics
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment across tech ops and commercial teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to dive deep into data and translate insights into action
- Experience working with vendors external partners or cross-functional commercial teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to manage high-complexity projects with tight timelines and shifting priorities

- Experience in grocery Q-commerce or last-mile/dark store operations
- Track record of managing complex launch programs or opening new sites
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making (e.g. Excel Tableau SQL)
- MBA or Masters degree in Operations Supply Chain or Business
