An Azure Platform Principal Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for the strategic direction design and implementation of robust scalable and secure cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. This high-impact role operates at a broad scope influencing technical architecture engineering practices and the overall technical strategy for organizations heavily invested in the Azure ecosystem.
These engineers are not only deep technical experts but also pragmatic visionaries who translate complex business needs into effective and efficient cloud solutions. They are expected to be hands-on while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to multiple teams.

About the Portfolio
The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated enterprise-wide delivery for the best practice student and staff experience. The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) Communications People Information and Technology Services (ITS) Office of the Chief Operating Officer Procurement and Vietnam Operations.
The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.
The Information Technology Services (ITS) function provides RMIT University with current and emerging
