Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Manufacturing Workforce Planning has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources (HR) Senior Manager in Renton or Everett WA. This leader is responsible for providing strategic support for Production and Maintenance (P&M) workforce planning across all Commercial Airplane Programs and Fabrication.

The role will develop and motivate a team of Human Resources generalists and offer innovative solutions to meet business requirements. The chosen individual will have great critical thinking skills and an innovative approach to solving problems as part of daily management. Additionally a strong background in positive employee relations labor relations hiring/staffing and focus on culture are key for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees deploying HR processes policies and procedures and other activities to support counsel and educate managers and employees on HR issues

  • Partner with Skill teams Global Talent Acquisition Learning & Development and workforce development to execute all P&M staffing

  • Partner with the manufacturing workforce planning team to deploy all P&M training and leadership development

  • Develop and execute integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guide the development of business and technical strategies goals objectives and process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

  • Manage develop and motivate employees and managers

  • Participate in business planning and decisions

  • Provide consultation on various Employee and Labor Relations policies and processes pertaining to positive employee engagement including but not limited to: basic labor law and principles attendance labor loss time charging and corrective action

  • Collect and analyze trends and feedback to create plans to educate leaders on improving engagement and mitigating areas of opportunity from various sources of input and leading listening mechanisms

  • Understand all relevant labor laws as well as HR policy and procedure that impact our teams

  • Build strong relationships with leaders partners teams and teammates to foster trust engagement and inclusion

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5 years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 3 years of experience in leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise level

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Experience managing and successfully leading strategy and process development and implementation across matrixes teams (and/or through geographically dispersed direct reports) in a large company

  • Experience attracting managing and developing a high performing team

  • Experience executing on talent management strategies

  • Experience developing and driving strategies with leadership teams

  • Experience driving transformation and org design

  • Experience leading teams and direct reports
