Job Description

- Assess and evaluate financial performance of supported business unit with regard to long-term operational goals budgets and forecasts- Support creation of yearly financial objectives that align with the business partners plan for growth and expansion- Prepare and may present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss forecast vs. budget and cash flow- Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls SOX compliance and financial procedures- Maintain outstanding relationships with business partners- Lead by example displaying GM behaviors commitment to personal development and dedication to crafting a positive Workplace of Choice culture- Provides understanding of the bigger picture and how projects relates to operational strategy / Enterprise goals- Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree with major in accounting/finance/business administration

  • 5 years in finance or accounting experience

  • Experience/knowledge of Hyperion

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships

  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management

  • Demonstrated ability to ask tough questions respectfully and maintain poise when challenged by others including leadership

  • Ability to look ahead and identify potential risks/issues before they come to fruition and to recommend and plan actions accordingly

  • Highly proficient personal computing skills and technology drive (e.g. Excel PowerPoint Visio)

  • Ability to prioritize assignments/projects multitask within aggressive time constraints and work with minimal supervision

  • FP&A Budget and Earings Support

Additional Job Description

  • Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren MI office three times per week at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business
