Departments Website:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education;
Regular admission to agraduatedegree program or good standing with theGraduateSchool for continuinggraduatestudents;
Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance.
Market Wellness and Belonging departments;
Help staff with Wellness and Belonging events;
Assist in designing and maintaining Counseling Services (CS) Disability Resouce Center (DRC) Health Services (HS) and Safe Zone (SZ) websites;
Plan organize and conduct outreach programs and events aimed at promoting overall health and well-being among students staff and faculty;
Develop and facilitate educational workshops on topics such as stress management mental health nutrition physical fitness disability awareness and self-care;
Create promotional materials such as posters brochures and social media content to advertise upcoming events and services offered by the three departments;
Establish and maintain partnerships with student organizations campus departments and local community groups to enhance the impact and reach of health promotion initiatives;
Ensure that all wellness promotions and events are accessible and inclusive;
Manage social media accounts using platforms like Facebook and Instagram to engage and educate the campus community about health and wellness topics;
Provide office coverage as needed (greet visitors answer phones and provide appropriate information);
Run errands on campus as needed;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a deadline;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Skillful at creating and distributing health promotions and marketing materials for social media;
Video editing and graphic design skills;
Ability to work independently.
