Store Area Manager: Long Island NY

alts Alterations Specialists is looking for a Store Area Manager

We are looking for a dynamic professional Store Area Manager distinguished by their charisma commitment professional integrity and driven by our brands KPIs. This role will include internal production management quality control practices as well as internal/external communication data analytics creative problem solving and management of day-to day operations as scheduling and team management. This position would have full time training in New York City prior to the locations opening. This role will involve regular Saturday work and may have a split weekend schedule. We are interested in seeing talent from all over the tri-state area. NYC NJ CT as we have 15 locations that span across those areas.

Responsibilities include:

Studio Management & Administration

  • Manage a team of Operations Professionals and tailors across 3 studios to ensure studio deadlines and production targets are hit
  • Leads the store to achieve Total Monthly Income (TMI) Goals
  • Manage monthly budget inventory supplies and purchase orders for your group of studio
  • Lead and model a customer-first culture across all studio based roles. and provide feedback to maintain a five-star customer experience.
  • Manage staff scheduling based on production needs and client bookings and handle day-to-day call outs to maintain efficiency in studio
  • Lead manage and coach the team in shop to achieve production and sales goals and maintain an excellent NPS score
  • Answer all questions from your teams and navigate the client issues that arise from your studios on the day to day
  • Ensure internal reporting is correct and work with that larger operations team to make sure the company is functioning as a whole.

Operations

  • Ensure that all QC checkpoints are consistently met for each garment entering or leaving your studios.
  • Ensure all tickets are properly created and processed throughout the garments life cycle with altsAlteration Specialists.
  • Work with the finance team to make sure tickets are properly allocated to the tailors that completed that work.
  • Properly record and document all RFAs refunds and other failures of process and brainstorm written solutions to achieve a higher operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and Improve alts Processes at all times

Analytics/Management

  • Continue to train and develop up to 15 junior operations staff that work in your studios delegate tasks and assist them as needed. Coordinate your day together and set yourselves and the studio up for success.
  • Communicate with leadership and other locations to ensure that all studios are operating as part of a whole.
  • Represent your studio on a daily basis advocate for your team and for the resources that your team needs to find success and be the leading person to roll out company wide-change at the studio level.
  • Manage the scheduling and time off of your studio cluster and maintenance requests.
  • Constantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization.

Experience

  • 5 years of operations experience at an early stage company required with 2 years of managing a team of 5 or more required
  • Clear communicator with ability to build strong cross-cultural relationships required.
  • Experience in luxury retail or showroom management required with a working knowledge of garment construction desired.
  • Tech savvy and systems based thinking required
  • Experience working with Notion and Zendesk a plus

This is a mid-career role.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary with a starting range of $85000-$100000 per year based on experience with an annual bonus pool. This role also requires weekend availability.
