Job Description

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a patient centered100%(40hours a week)Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to support our Outreach patients within Bettendorf. This position supports our other clinics located within the building which includes but not limited to: Pediatrics Dermatology and Endocrinology. This position requires travel within a two-hour radius approximately once per month and includes the use of a fleet vehicle along with paid drive time.

Our team specialize in the careofeveryone in the family in every generation from birth for LPNsdevelop relationships and get to know our patients and monitor patientcare history anddeliver personalized compassionate care every time to each patient. When our patients needcare ourproviders connectthem with the UI Health Care specialist they need.

Duties to include:

  • Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
  • Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
  • In less complex situations may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
