Key job responsibilities
We are looking for passionate hard-working and talented Software Engineer/MLE who have experience building innovative mission critical high volume ML applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on Alexa customers all over the world. You will be:
- Working with Applied Scientists to develop and productionize ML models that learn to personalize the Alexa experience.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of core modules and services.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against fast-paced schedules.
- Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience in professional non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
- Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing
