Strategy & Integration Manager

Were looking for a commercially minded strategist to join our high-performing Strategy team at SWM. This is a newly created senior role designed to bridge research insights and strategy with the goal of turning audience data into powerful commercial narratives.

Sitting at the intersection of content sales marketing and product this role is ideal for someone with a background in media planning audience strategy integration or research who thrives on collaboration and wants to help shape market-leading media solutions. Youll bring a strong strategic lens to everything you do whether its developing a pitch uncovering insights or building a media solution that makes sense for the audience and the client. If you thrive in fast-paced environments love connecting dots between content audience and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of strategic data-led commercial proposals in collaboration with sales marketing and product teams
  • Work closely with the research and insights team to extract meaningful audience data and translate it into compelling commercial narratives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including content design and commercial teams to deliver innovative and insight-driven media solutions
  • Support the Head of Strategy in shaping the direction of commercial strategy and audience initiatives
  • Produce high-quality presentations and strategic documents that clearly articulate campaign strategies and rationale
  • Guide and mentor junior team members fostering collaboration and best practice within the wider strategy team
  • Stay on top of media industry trends and audience behaviours to inform proactive and reactive strategy development
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

What You Bring:

  • 5-8 years experience in a strategy media planning research integration or audience-focused role within an agency client-side team or publisher
  • Proven ability to analyse audience and campaign data to inform strategic direction
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to turn insights into persuasive commercial narratives
  • Advanced presentation writing and delivery skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident working across Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • A strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and evolving consumer trends
  • Natural collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities
