The Employment Operations & Records unit of UF Human Resources is responsible for all electronic transactions that support the hiring and employment changes during the lifecycle of UF employees. As part of this team the Employment Specialist I works in partnership with UF departments to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of employment-related actions while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Specific responsibilities of the Employment Specialist I include the following:

UF provides a variety of leave programs including vacation sick leave 11 paid holidays personal leave days and family medical leave. TEAMS employees accrue approximately 22 vacation days annually 13 sick days annually and 4 personal leave days which is typically used during the holiday closing period (accruals based on full-time employment).
Upon successfully completing a six-month probationary period you may have the option to work a hybrid schedule consisting of two remote days and three in-office days with assigned days based on schedule availability.
$16.76 - $19.16 hourly; commensurate with education and experience.
A bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
