ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide direct care to clients or familieswho are assigned to acaseload under clinical supervision of a Clinical Supervisor;
- Attend and participate in individual or group clinical supervision treatment planning activities and discharge planning;
- Function as the clients advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client; and
Assist in treatment plan updates and progress summaries associated with the clients treatment; - Provides appropriate interventions as part of the prescribed treatment
- Attends patient treatment team meetings for assigned caseload;
- Collects data/information and relates findings to necessary agency staff
- Complete accurate progress summaries for individuals on caseload
- Assists in discharge planning
Administrative duties
Prepare and write accurate progress notes or other documents related to services provided to the client submit weekly paperwork prior to clinical supervision
Attend trainings and meetings as required
LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Counseling Social Work Sociology or Psychology rehabilitation services special education early childhood education secondary education family and consumer sciences or human growth and development criminal justice
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule with minimal direct supervision.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate orally and verbally
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines for data entry
