The Physical Therapist develops implements and coordinates a physical therapy program that includes screening evaluation and intervention services. The Physical Therapist is a member of the interdisciplinary education team that works toward the development of skills needed for the occupation of being a student and helps prepare the student to participate in work play and independent living activities. They develop and implement therapeutic activities which support therapy goals and objectives. The Educational Support Physical Therapist is mandated as a related service under Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) - Federal Laws 101-457.
Candidate required to hold a valid Ohio Physical Therapy license. Ohio Department of Education Professional License is also required and may be obtained during the hiring process. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
