Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Medium Range Targets program office. The work will cover multiple programs developing the next generation of reentry vehicles rocket motors and countermeasures in support of creating realistic test environments for the nations missile defense systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and engineering analysis for MDA flight requirements products to ensure accuracy decomposition and integration are complete
- Participate in system requirements reviews and create and/or update requirement specifications and technical documentation
- Supporting requirements development and functional allocation to hardware software operator and other segments and components of the system
- Providing review and analysis of engineering designs requirements and program status
- Coordinating multi-domain reviews of design artifacts submitted in support of critical program reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in STEM and 3 years of experience
- Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Experience writing presenting and coordinating product and engineering plans policies and procedures
- Understanding system interface requirements and requirements management
- Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and produce and present clear concise well-organized and audience-relevant presentations and documents.
- Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate
- Ability to work independently or lead teams/tasks
- Experience working in a configuration-controlled environment and ensuring proper levels of handling are applied to items
Desired Skills:
- MDA experience and familiarity with the Missile Defense System
- Familiarity with MDA flight test targets and threats
- Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools
Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and hold an Active DoD Secret clearance
