Annual Salary: $188453.40
The County of Nevada California is seeking an experienced community-oriented Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters (ROV) to oversee the Clerk Recorder and Election operations in a county known for its engaged and politically diverse electorate. This is an elected position; however due to a vacancy the Board of Supervisors must by law appoint someone to serve the remainder of the term. While the Board hopes the appointee will run in the June 2 2026 primary election leading to the November 3 2026 general election it is not a requirement. Residency in Nevada County and voter registration are mandatory.
