MRI Technologist Weekend Shift Opportunity
Location: Rochester NY
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
Orientation: Full-time (40 hrs/week) for first 2 weeks
Solo Weekend Shift Starts: September 67
Weekend Shift Hours: Saturday & Sunday 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
Must be flexible to train on day/evening shifts during orientation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate is experienced with GE or Siemens MRI scanners has strong patient care skills and is detail-oriented in performing and documenting MRI procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate MRI scanner for non-contrast exams MSK neuro spine and occasional body scans
Prepare and position patients explaining procedures to ensure comfort and safety
Maintain cleanliness and safety of imaging equipment and work area
Accurately document procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
Coordinate imaging needs and results with physicians
Perform basic patient care tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiologic Technology
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (Required)
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners (Required)
Familiarity with routine MSK neuro spine and occasional body imaging
Must be able to stand for extended periods and understand medical terminology
Certifications:
BLS American Heart Association (Required)
ARRT certification (preferred) must be willing to obtain after hire
