As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing grooming and dressing.
- Help with light housekeeping meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Provide social interaction activities and emotional support to our clients.
- Help with ambulation transferring and range of motion exercises.
- Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
- Monitor and report any changes in the clients health to the Client Care Team.
- Follow care plans provided by the Client Care Team and document all provided care accurately.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards clients families and coworkers.
A few must-haves for Home Health Aides / Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and must be 18 years of age
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred
- Reliable transportation (valid PA drivers license & auto insurance)
- Valid two-step PPD or a Titer
- Smartphone with the capability to download and use a time clock app
- A compassionate nature strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
