Job Duties
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights Were looking for a detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to help drive data-informed decision-making within the Virginia Beach Health District. A qualified candidate is well versed in collecting and analyzing data using a variety of research methods statistical formulas and techniques. This position core duties involve Data Management Analysis Informational Resources Reporting and Quality Assurance.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of database management; data quality assurance techniques and procedures; basic statistical formulas and techniques
Strong oral and written communication interpersonal problem solving statistical analysis and database management skills
Software skills should include MS Office (Access Excel PowerPoint Publisher and Word)
Ability to collect analyze and enter data; perform data quality checks; report and reconcile discrepancies; prepare clear and accurate documentation and reports; conduct research; communicate effectively with diverse audiences; provide technical assistance; conduct training
Travel may be required
Additional Considerations
Knowledge and skill using RedCap Tableau and other statistical software commonly used in public health.
