Detailed Job Description: ITS is responsible for the development ongoing maintenance and support of the legacy UNISYS Welfare Management System Services (WMS-Services) comprised of COBOL applications. This position performs specialized WMS Services support functions using Unisys COBOL DMS DPS QLP LOUIS II and OLTP for interfacing with other Unisys applications and servers. WMS Services is used by all local districts in New York State including New York City. WMS supports all aspects of Title XX Services and SERMA processes and is the record of authority for critical agency information including applications eligibility daycare Foster Care and Protective Services. WMS contains both inter-agency and intraagency interfaces as follows: CONNECTIONS - intra-agency Benefit Issuance Control System (BICS) - inter-agency EMEDNY inter-agency Sydney on SQL (SOS) WMS and the OCFS Data Warehouse (DW).Full Time
