Data Engineer Mid to Senior Level Location: Hybrid (Nashville TN) Employment Type: Full-Time or Contract Salary Range: $120000 $140000 Work Authorization: US Citizens and Green Card holders only (No H1B)
Role Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled and communicative Data Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks and SQL. This role supports critical data initiatives across healthcare and manufacturing domains offering opportunities to architect scalable solutions and drive meaningful insights in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize data pipelines using Databricks

Write advanced SQL queries to support data extraction transformation and reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence and ML initiatives

Maintain data quality governance and performance across large datasets

Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver timely solutions

Participate in migration efforts to cloud-based architectures and data platforms
Preferred Experience:

5 years of hands-on experience with Databricks and large-scale data platforms

Proven expertise in SQL and data modeling principles

Knowledge of healthcare or manufacturing data ecosystems is a strong plus
