Job Title: Structural Marker (U-Turn)
Location: Singapore
Experience Required: 1 to 3 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Marker (U-Turn) with hands-on experience in structural marking and steel fabrication for industrial and construction projects. The candidate should be proficient in interpreting structural drawings and layout plans with specific expertise in U-turn marking patterns for welding and assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret and mark structural steel components based on technical drawings blueprints and layout instructions.
Perform U-Turn marking layout for fabrication of beams columns trusses and other steel structures.
Coordinate with fabricators and welders to ensure correct marking and alignment for welding and cutting.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as tapes levels squares and calipers.
Ensure marking complies with industry standards client specifications and safety requirements.
Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments before handover to the welding team.
Maintain tools equipment and work area in a safe and organized manner.
Follow all site safety protocols and adhere to company work standards and timelines.
Essential Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fabrication or related fields.
Minimum 1 3 years of relevant experience as a Structural Marker in fabrication or construction industries.
Prior Gulf experience or Singapore experience is a plus.
U-Turn experience in layout marking is mandatory.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of structural drawings and fabrication symbols.
Skilled in U-Turn layout marking for structural steelwork.
Proficient in measuring instruments and layout tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of fabrication tolerances and quality standards.
Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials.
