Job Description
A well-established construction company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all work performed on-site meets project specifications quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will play a key role in quality assurance and control processes including inspections documentation and compliance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the project quality plan inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures.
Conduct inspections on-site to verify work is executed according to approved drawings specifications and standards.
Coordinate with site engineers subcontractors and consultants for inspections quality issues and NCR resolutions.
Review and validate material submittals method statements and quality documents.
Maintain proper records of inspections test results material approvals and other QA/QC documentation.
Assist in conducting internal audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Prepare daily and weekly QA/QC reports for submission to the QA/QC Manager and project management.
Monitor the workmanship of subcontractors and ensure that corrective actions are taken where required.
Support the QA/QC Manager during inspections client visits and third-party audits.
Ensure that all quality-related activities are carried out in compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within large-scale construction projects.
Familiarity with international QA/QC standards and systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
Strong knowledge of construction materials inspection techniques and quality procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools.
Excellent attention to detail communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
Familiarity with Saudi regulations and standards is an advantage.
Candidates currently in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are preferred.
