The academy program will have an 8-hour/day format giving you time to dive into the Accesa culture learn from our experienced colleagues and discover our communities. The academy will take place remotely with potential hybrid sessions (not mandatory).
During our program you will gain both theorical knowledge and hands-on experience required for a career as a Product Owner. Dedicated mentors will guide you and help you learn the necessary competencies:
Agile Foundations: Learn to work with Agile methodology and processes gaining insight into how modern teams deliver iterative value.
Client Communication: Act as the liaison between the customer and the implementation team developing strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Requirements Analysis: Support the identification of business needs clarify and document requirements and participate in business process modelling.
Product Backlog Management: Assist in planning and refining the product backlog with a focus on delivering valuable increments that balance user business and technical needs.
User Story Writing: Learn how to write clear testable user stories with acceptance criteria that reflect real customer validation scenarios.
Project Alignment: Gain experience in monitoring and aligning project scope with business goals and product roadmaps.
Hands-on Experience: Work on real-life projects participate in workshops and get exposure to internal project management systems (Agile/Scrum) under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Must Have:
Passion for learning and curiosity about building user-friendly IT solutions.
Comfort in customer-facing roles and the ability to ask questions and communicate clearly.
Strong perseverance to follow through all project phases to completion.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.
Ability to translate complex functionality into simple understandable concepts.
Capacity to work with vague initial ideas and progressively shape them into well-defined requirements.
Fluency in English and German.
Nice to Have:
University degree in Economics Business Computer Science or a related field.
Any client-facing experience (e.g. Insurance QA Configuration Helpdesk Customer Support).
