Evoqua a Xylem brand is a global leader in sustainable water solutions. Were looking for a talented Controls Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming and electrical system design to help automate our cutting-edge high purity water treatment systemscritical to industries like biotech pharmaceuticals semiconductors and food & beverage.

This is a hands-on engineering role where youll design control systems write PLC/HMI code and contribute to projects that support life-saving and technology-enabling solutions.

What Youll Do

  • Design and develop control systems for advanced high purity water equipment

  • Program PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley & Siemens) for real-time equipment automation

  • Create detailed electrical schematics panel layouts and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

  • Ensure all designs comply with UL 508A standards and safety requirements

  • Configure network communication between PLCs and building automation systems

  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) field startups and system validations

  • Troubleshoot control system issues and provide technical support through the project lifecycle

  • Maintain clear organized documentation to support system traceability and compliance

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in Automation or related field or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 1 years of experience programming PLCs in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Solid understanding of control system design panel layouts and electrical schematics

  • Familiarity with industrial networking and integration of automation systems

  • Strong troubleshooting documentation and organizational skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with clear communication and problem-solving ability

Salary range:

$63600.00 - $101800.00
