Who Youll Work With
Corebridge Financial Private Credit Group (PCG) invests across several asset classes including Corporate Privates (CP) Infrastructure Structured Credit (Asset Backed Securities and Collateralized Loan Obligations) and Direct Lending. These investments are typically long-term fixed rate debt securities issued by public or private companies outside of the public bond market in a range of industries and geographies.
About the role
In this Senior Investment Analyst role you will support Structured Credit deal teams in evaluating new transaction opportunities and monitoring a portfolio of existing investments. The analyst will be exposed to all aspects of the underwriting process and given the opportunity to develop fundamental credit investing skills. New investment recommendations and amendment and restructuring negotiations must be conducted using good judgment on credit structure and pricing with the goal of providing appropriate levels of protection and return for the risk taken.
Responsibilities
- Make new investment recommendations and manage the Structured Credit portfolio including reviewing periodic financial and compliance statements monitoring worksheets and completing credit reviews analyzing amendment requests ensuring accurate monthly portfolio pricing and other duties as assigned.
- Assist with internal reporting and special projects as assigned.
- Supporting senior team members with transaction due diligence including opportunity screening business and industry research financial modeling preparation of credit committee presentation materials and legal documentation review and negotiation.
- Management and monitoring of existing portfolio credits with a focus on reviewing financial statements and compliance reporting in order to collect and maintain portfolio data and to prepare and present periodic credit reviews.
- Participation in management presentations credit committee meetings and interactions with key counterparties such as investment bankers legal counsel and issuer management teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proactive team player with intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude
- Ability to take direction take ownership of tasks and responsibilities and meet deadlines
- High ethical standards good judgment and flexibility in achieving goals
- Proficient in Excel; financial modeling and credit analysis skills are a plus
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90000 - $105000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors which may include the candidates geographic location skills experience and other qualifications. In addition the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also offers a range of competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package as detailed below.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financials Houston TX or Jersey City NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
