Job Description
Eurofins is seeking a highly detail-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task to join our team as a Cell Culture Support Scientist. The successful new hire will effectively perform the following activities as well as other duties as assigned.
- Conduct transient transfection for antibody/protein production
- Perform harvesting and titering
- Maintain mammalian cell lines utilizing proper aseptic technique
- Utilize modern molecular biology techniques
- Assist on cloning and plasmid preps as needed
- Analyze and summarize data documenting data properly in electronic lab notebook (ELN)
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Biochemistry or related field with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience
- Must have experience with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture
- Must be eligible to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task willing to learn new techniques good communication and willing to flag issues as they arise and seek help
- Highly detail-oriented and teamwork oriented
- Experience with modern molecular biology techniques
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of La Jolla CA are encouraged to apply.
