Job Description
IT Security Engineer - Senior
This is a contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert. This is a fully remote role with occasional on-site support in the MA area preferred.
About this position
Were hiring a Senior IT Security Engineer to support our Loss Prevention IT team with a focus on physical security systems. You will lead technical design and implementation of access control and CCTV solutions across a global enterprise environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deploy access control and CCTV systems including software and hardware
- Manage virtual machines (VMware Hyper-V cloud)
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures
- Ensure system integration with security platforms (e.g. Genetec)
- Provide ongoing technical support and documentation
Skills/Requirements
- 8 years of experience in security systems installation and programming
- Proficient with Genetec Axis Hanwha DMP Bosch systems
- Genetec certifications required
- Familiar with TCP/IP VPNs VLANs firewalls and network security
- Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Additional Information
- Contract role with conversion potential
- Fully remote with occasional MA-based site visits
Pay Range
Pay Range: $65-$75/hour
